Happy Thanksgiving!

AG | November 24, 2010 |

Not a turkey – but possibly being eaten on Thanksgiving anyway.

Downtown Austin Blog wishes our readers a Happy Thanksgiving!

And by the way, this turkey guinea fowl really has been running around Rainey Street for quite awhile.  I hope whoever is keeping it doesn’t plan to eat it. 🙁

I ALWAYS see this bird. For a long time my boyfriend didn’t believe that there was a rather enormous bird by the roundabout in the mornings–now I have proof!

Actually, that looks more like a guinea fowl than a turkey. If you listen to it and it says “pot-rack” rather than “gobble”, it is not a turkey. Just saying.
