Just in time for SXSW, Caffe Medici opens its third location. Located in the Austonian on Congress Ave, I was immediately impressed with the finish out. Great layout, great light, great coffee. We’ll soon need to update our Best Coffee Shops In Austin list. A couple of quick android pics after the jump.
UPDATE: BETTER PHOTOS…

We’ve stopped in twice and overall, it’s a nice addition to downtown. It’s not as cozy as the
Clarksville location, but the separate registers are a great improvement! Also for all the
TacoDeli fans out there – lots of breakfast tacos even as late as 10:30am (most places run out
much earlier)

Looking forward to visiting as soon as all these hipsters leave. 🙂 Dominican Joe is great but it’s just too crowded and much too noisy. A new coffeeshop down the street from home is just what I needed. (BTW don’t fail to notice the new DONUT and KOLACHE place that’s about to open at SoCo and Riverside.)
I paid a shocking $3.15 for a large regular coffee at the place at the Hilton yesterday, I hope Caffe Medici will be slightly less outrageous. (I give it fifty-fifty.)

I am heading over there this morning to sample their coffee. I’ve always been a Flipnotics fan, but I’m willing to try new things. Next stop…Your best coffee shops in Austin list. Thanks for the info!
