Perigee Moon Over Downtown Austin Texas - 06

Last night was the Perigee moon: when the moon’s orbit is closest to earth. This was a good excuse to hike around Lady Bird Lake and take some pictures of Downtown Austin. After hiking a few miles to Bee Caves at Mopac, and despite forgetting my tripod, the journey yielded a few pictures worth posting. Above is my favorite.

    Fabulous picture…not only do you have an “eye”, you have the technical skills to pull it off. Austin looks like carnival lights below that gorgeous moon.
