Beginning Friday at 9am downtown Austin will begin to shut down 11th street in preparation for thousands of bikers attending the 2009 ROT Rally. By 6pm Congress Ave. and all connecting streets will be shut down through Saturday at 3pm. Thanks to Impact News for the heads up!

I’m looking forward to seeing the event. I live right by Congress so I imagine it will be pretty busy.
PS. I just started up the Beer and Blog Austin chapter and am currently looking to find some Austin bloggers. We would basically meet up like once a week and network with each other and drink some beer.
