Perhaps you’ve noticed the elegant fashions in the window next to Annie’s on an evening stroll down Congress Avenue. Perhaps you’ve seen the sign with the simple, but apt, words “Dress Shop.”
Perhaps you haven’t.
But you should.
Dress Shop is, you guessed it, a dress shop selling dresses, jewelry, handbags, and ladies undergarments. It’s located 315 Congress Avenue, right above the Elephant Room, and just south of Annie’s. And the dresses are FABULOUS.
I went in yesterday for a peek, and was very pleasantly surprised at the offerings and the prices of the designer dresses in the store. You can purchase most dresses in the shop for between $100-$300, and the dresses are all designer, and all new (no vintage, but they do have “vintage inspired” fashions right now). The dresses range from casual to cocktail. The interior of the shop is clean and classy – you definitely feel like you are getting the boutique experience.
Downtown Austin ladies (and maybe some dudes; I don’t judge) – don’t forget about this shop when you are looking for next special dress!
