Wild About Music on East Sixth Street has a fancy little sister called Austin Rocks Texas (ART), a 1,350 sf retail space at the corner of 2nd and Guadalupe. The store features upscale apparel, jewelry, artwork and other unique items, and is a perfect stop after a concert at ACL.

ART will celebrate with an official Grand Opening event this coming Saturday, June 2nd from 1:00-4:00pm, with music from pop-rock songstress, Jennifer Ellen Cook, refreshments from Saint Arnold Brewery, Mama Fu’s and Texas Music Water, as well as drawings for prizes that include a Dean acoustic guitar valued at $400.
The grand opening celebration will be during a larger, district-wide festival / fundraiser called The SoundCheck music festival, where several bands will play. Proceeds will go to the Comfort The Children International (CTC).
